Cartridge Polyester Resin & Epoxy Acrylate Resin

Manufactured by Rawlplug the Rawl R-KF2 Kemfast Polyester Resin and the Rawl R-KEA Epoxy Acrylate Resin System are the perfect partner for the range of Abbot Anchorages.

Application
Fixing of all of Abbot Fixing Systems anchorage range into solid and hollow structures. Suitable for fixing sizes from M8 to M24.

Description
R-KF2 Kemfast Polyester Resin - self mixing in the nozzle system providing a stress free fixing method into solid and hollow structures.

R-KEA Epoxy Acrylate Resin System - offers higher load performance than polyester resin systems, with shorter gel and cure times and improved chemical resistance. Suitable for solid structures only.

Installation Procedure

  • Drill hole to correct diameter and depth for size of stud to be used then thoroughly clean hole using brush or air.
  • Fit sleeve for hollow blockwork and brickwork (if necessary).
  • Remove plastic end cap and red plug. Insert cartridge into gun and attach nozzle. Dispense to waste until an even colour and pump into hole.

·         Insert stud or socket with a twisting action. Leave the anchor undisturbed until the resin has set then attach fixture.
